Title of Activity:

Understand the block diagram of this project and their working process also further do some research on the internet about "Attendance Management System Through Apps Software" 

List of Activity:

• To understand the basic working principle of this project
• To come out with draft design of the block diagram of the project

Block Diagram for this project which is "Attendance Management System Through Apps software" was created

ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THROUGH APPS SOFTWARE 

The system able to take the attendance by using Smartphone Apps. This project is done gradually which is the first step is focused on the RFID, then a Micro-controller and the last stage is display on the Smartphone Apps Interface as their output to completing the whole system. In addition, Microsoft excel will be implemented in this project to converts all Absentees data of Students from Data base interface

Flow and Component to develop Attendance System Through Apps Software 

• This system consists of RFID card, RFID reader, Micro-controller, Buzzer, LED and also smartphone interfacing. 
• RFID tag must be touch to the RFID reader so that the code can be read by the RFID reader and convert the code for student into decimal. 
• Then the data will be sent to the Micro-controller. 
• The buzzer and led will turn on. 
• At the same time, it will send the data to the smartphone. This code immediately transffered via wireless device which is Bluetooth and saved it in smartphone memory. 
• Finally the complete list of students is compiled and saved automatically and it make the process of monitoring the attendance become simpler and easier

Title of Activity:

PROF DR Amir bin Abbas are agreed to be assigned as my  FYP supervisor. "Attendance Management System Through Apps Software" are be given as my project title . Prof Dr Amir asked to do some research on the internet about this project whether it is suitable for me or not

• Find the materials on the project title and do the research on the Internet 

Conclusion :

The research for the FYP supervisor are success where Prof Dr Amir bin Abbas are agreed to be assigned as my FYP supervisor. The "Attendance Management System Through Apps Software" are be chosen as my project title and have be registered. By this week, the time are used to do some research on the project title given by Prof Dr Amir bin Abbas and understand the concept of this project.

Title of Activity:

Find the ideas about  the FYP 1 title and choose the best title. Do the research by looking on the previous student engineering projects on the internet to get the ideas for the project chosen.

• To find a bunch of project title before meet supervisor 
• To understand the concept of chosen title .
• Find the materials on the project title and do the research on the Internet 

Conclusion:

By this week, the time are used to find a suitable project title and do the research on the chosen project title to understand the concept.

WEEK 1

Title of Activity:

Final Year Project (FYP 1) briefing at TTL 1 by Madam Nurlida and the FYP committees. The highlighted topic is guide to find suitable FYP title and to find appropriate FYP supervisor .

List of Activity:

The first week student have to attend the Final Year Project briefing at TTL1, Wednesday at 2.30 pm.The briefing was conducted by Madam Nulida Binti Aziz.. The FYP committee have briefed to us about:

• Introduction of Final Year Project.
• Title selection.
• Progress of logbook/blog(weekly)
• Supervisor selection.

Conclusion:

In the first week, students are required to select their title by their own ideas or suggested by the supervisor. It is important for students to understand the objectives of FYP module. The briefing guide on how to find suitable FYP title, that need to be registered before week 4. Student also required to search for available lecturer to be a FYP supervisor to get the title registered. All progress regarding FYP are required to record in logbook or blog.
